Young Children: Priority OneType of Committee: ServiceMembers: Sheryl LennonSherri Maddox Naomi Radcliffe The "Young Children: Priority One" committee conducts needs assessments within the community and implements projects based on the discovered needs to help young children (prenatal to age five). Projects focus on safety and pediatric trauma, maternal and infant health, child care and development, and parent education and support. The Worldwide Service Project (WSP) is the primary project under the umbrella of "Young Children: Priority One". A committee should be appointed for the purpose of providing leadership, disseminating campaign information to the club membership, developing the club campaign, and organizing WSP fund-raisers. |
